Biennial 600: Architecture

The AMoA Biennial—600: Architecture exhibition is the 7th iteration of the Amarillo Museum of Art’s biennial series.  Previous biennial exhibitions have been focused on a singular medium, process, or art form.  Architecture, as a focus for this biennial, is a very broad subject and visitors will find that this exhibition includes works that challenge conventional interpretations, or definitions of what the word architecture means.  The juror for this exhibition was Rand Elliott, FAIA, Elliott + Associates Architects, Oklahoma City.  Rand was tasked with looking at more than 500 images submitted by artists and architects residing and working within a 600-mile radius of Amarillo.
