Summer Art Camp 2007 An exciting summer is just around the corner at the Amarillo Museum of Art's Summer Art Camp 2007. Our summer art camps provide children with an exciting range of classes and themes to fit any area of artistic interest. The Museum is the perfect place to learn about art and to discover the budding artist in everyone. At summer art camp children have the opportunity to draw, paint, sculpt, work with clay, or experiment with mixed media. Students are encouraged to explore their imagination and creativity while making their own artistic masterpieces.
All children's classes are taught by experienced art educators. Please note that camps run Tuesday through Friday as the Museum is closed on Mondays. Enrollment fees cover all art supplies, a mid-morning snack for the 3 hour camps, and a Summer Art Camp 2007 T-shirt. Museum members receive a 10% discount on enrollment. Because art can be messy, children should wear old or play clothes to class.
Enrollment is limited so register early by calling the Museum at 371-5050. Registration is not complete until tuition is paid in full. Tuition for Camps is due by May 25th.
