The Amarillo Museum of Art in Amarillo, Texas, continues to develop its holdings of Asian art. Thanks in great part to Mr. V. J. Jordan Jr., an area collector and community leader, the Museum was able to present an exhibition in the Spring of 2000, of tsakli, miniature devotional paintings from Tibet, its neighboring Buddhist regions and countries.

The Museum hopes that this discussion will provide on-line viewers with an opportunity to better understand intricate and fascinating religious art form.
