The Amarillo Museum of Art 2011 National Juried Biennial: Figurative Painting is an exhibition of artwork selected by a nationally renowned juror from the works submitted by artists residing within the United States of America.

Juror: Martha Mayer Erlebacher
Ms. Erlebacher will present a Gallery Talk. She is a leading representational figurative and still-life painter in the tradition of Renaissance and Baroque artists. Her work has been shown extensively throughout the United States and is included in numerous private and public collections such as the Art Institute of Chicago, Library of Congress, D.C., Fogg Museum of Art, Yale University and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The Museum received over 150 entries from all across the United States. The winners are as follows:

Third Place – Serena Potter – Down Again

The exhibition, which contains some nudity, will be on view Tuesday – Friday from 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. from August 27 through October 23. The Museum is located on the Amarillo College Washington Street campus. Admission is free.
