AMoA's Standard Tour program brings art to life for your students! Docents lead your class on an adventure through art and art history as they view our permanent and special exhibtions.
Tour Cost: $1.50 / student; please note that prices are based on groups of 20 or more students, for groups smaller than 20 please contact the Education Department.
Grades: K-12
Duration: 1-2 Hours; time is based on grade level
AMoA's Enhanced Tour program gives student's a multidimensional museum experience including tours of the museum galleries, as well as, a hands-on art activity! First, docents lead students through the museum explaining the artists and their works while engaging the students in discussion. A hands-on art activity then helps students better understand what they have seen during the tour by allowing them the materials, training and tools to be creative and encouraging them to think critically about different art forms.
