THE PANHANDLE ARTISTS' HANGING


The Panhandle Artists’ Hanging is a unique initiative designed to give artists of all ages and levels of experience an opportunity to exhibit their work in a museum setting. It is open to any artist working in any medium. We will accept only one work per person. The show is hung by the artist salon style, from floor to ceiling.

ARTISTS INSTALL WORK
Thursday, May 27, 10 am – 4 pm
Friday, May 28, 10 am – 4 pm

OPENING PARTY
Friday, May 28, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Admission $10 per person
Museum members enter free

EXHIBITION DATES
Continues through Friday, June 11

ARTISTS DEINSTALL WORK
Saturday, June 12, 1 – 5 pm
Sunday, June 13, 1 – 5 pm

REQUIREMENTS
We will accept only one work per person. (No diptychs, triptychs, etcetera.)

All artwork is subject to review; the show must be appropriate for all ages.

Participation in the exhibition is FREE. Opening party is $10 per person.

All work must be dry and ready to hang or install. Museum will furnish pins, nails, hammers and a limited number of pedestals.

All work hung on the wall may not exceed 5x5 ft. Label material will be furnished. No additional label material (such as artists’ statements, business cards, etcetera) will be allowed.
