The Texas Panhandle Student Art Show (TPSAS) is the highlight of the year for panhandle art students. It exemplifies dedication, imagination, talent, and creative exploration by students K-12 in both public and private schools throughout the Panhandle. Both 2D and 3D pieces consisting of paintings, drawings, printmaking processes, computer art, collage, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media work will be on display at the Amarillo Museum of Art.
The show consists of two parts: Individual K-12 student entries selected by art teachers and hung in the north gallery of the 2nd floor at the Amarillo Museum of Art and the Senior Portfolio Exhibition consisting of at least eight pieces of artwork created during their high school years hung in the south gallery of the 2nd floor at AMoA.
Award Reception will be held on May 12th at 6:30 PM, AMoA lower level.

The Amarillo Museum of Art is open:
Tuesday through Friday from 10 am - 5 pm.
Saturday and Sunday the Museum is open from 1 pm - 5 pm
(except for exhibition installation weeks)
CLOSED on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
There is no admission fee.
The Amarillo Museum of Art publishes and distributes numerous fine art catalogues and posters. Southeast Asian and East Indian artifacts are featured as well as renowned modernist artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and John Marin.
