Side by Side: Romy Owens and Christopher Pekoc
May 16 - August 17
Gallery Talk by Dr. Henry Adams
Professor of American Art
Case Western Reserve University
The Side by Side Exhibition is an opportunity to see two artists working with similar materials and processes. Romy Owens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Christopher Pekoc of Cleveland, Ohio both work with photography and stitch together larger compositions. Though both artists work in similar ways with related materials, the resulting artworks are distinctive and absolutely unique to the individual artist.
Funded in part by National Endowment for the Arts, Texas Commission on the Arts, Amarillo Convention & Visitors Council Arts Committee, Anonymous, AMoA Alliance, Josephine Anderson Charitable Trust, Xcel Energy
