OBJECTIVE:

Students will be able to create their own poems using selected works of art as either models for combining visuals with writing, or as selections for creating a written response or interpretation.

MATERIALS:

• Colored Paper
• Magazine Pictures
• Colored Markers or Pencils
• Glue
• Scissors

IMPLEMENTATION:

Using the image, It's All Natural, students will use a combination of visuals and words to express their views on issues important in the students lives.

RELATED ACTIVITIES:

Students may use this form of writing to express their feelings or knowledge about an event in history, a character in a story, an historic figure, or the plot of a story.
