Museum School, Art Classes, Camps, and Workshops for Kids

AMoA offers in-depth art experiences for area youth. Led by AMoA’s teaching artists, children are taught how to look at, talk about, and create art. Young artists explore drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and design.

Fall and Spring Art Classes
The Fall Semester runs from September to December and the Spring Semester runs from February to April. Classes are geared for children aged 4 -11. Class lengths can vary from 5 weeks to 8 weeks.

Summer Art Camps
Classes are offered in June and July for children ages 4 – 15. Camp class times vary by age and are offered on a weekly basis.

Art Workshops
Workshops are offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters. These classes are held for one day only, on a Saturday, concentrating on an art medium or theme.
