Works on Paper

WORKS ON PAPER
MAY 26 - JULY 29

The Works on Paper exhibition will include a variety of watercolors, drawings, prints, and photographs from AMoA’s permanent collection, alongside a number of artworks on loan from area collections.  Highlights of the exhibition will include watercolors by Georgia O’Keeffe, John Marin, Andrew Wyeth, and Elaine de Kooning along with prints and drawings by a number of artists including Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Luis Jimenez.  Photographs by Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Linda Conner, Arthur Rothstein, Stephen Shore, and others will also be on view. Paper has played a vital role in arguably every artist’s practice since its creation, and this exhibition will explore the many ways it is used as a foundation for a variety of artistic processes.
